The Goal Getter Club March Meet-Up Was Off The Hook
- Mar 9
- 2 min read
March’s Goal Getter Club at Royal Norwich was one for the books.
We had 32 small business owners in the room (last month was 21; and the Club originally started with just a handful of people). Seeing it grow month by month is pretty incredible.
There was a real buzz in the room from the moment people arrived; new faces, familiar Clubbers catching up, and plenty of coffees being poured before we kicked things off.
Watch The Highlights
If you couldn’t make it this month; here’s a little glimpse of the energy in the room.
1 Minute Mic Drop Pitches
One of the favourite parts of The Goal Getter Club is our 1 minute mic drop elevator pitches.
Every attendee gets the chance to introduce themselves, explain what they do, and tell the room who they are looking to connect with.
It’s fast, energetic, and often quite entertaining.
But it also means everyone leaves the room knowing exactly who is in the community and how they might be able to help each other.
Guest Talk: Victor Ling from Barkers Photo Fun.
This month we were joined by Victor Ling from Barkers Photo Fun, who spoke about wearing multiple hats in business.
Something most small business owners know all too well.
Victor shared honest insights about juggling roles as a founder; from operations and sales to marketing and leadership. His key message was simple but powerful:
Sometimes the hat you need to wear most is the one that actually drives the business forward.
A really useful reminder for everyone in the room.
A Room Full Of Brilliant Businesses
One of the things that makes Goal Getter Club special is the mix of businesses in the room.
From marketing and finance to property, creative services and consultancy; the conversations that happen before, during and after the event are where the magic often happens.
Many attendees stay afterwards to continue chatting, book in 1:1 coffee catch ups (our famous mini disco dates), and explore collaborations.
New For Goal Getter Club; Member Workshops
We also announced something new for the Club.
We’re launching Goal Getter workshops, run by members of the community.
These sessions will give Clubbers the opportunity to share their expertise and get paid for delivering practical sessions to fellow small business owners.
Our first workshop is taking place straight after the next meet-up:
Led by Ross Berridge from Thunder & Flash Marketing.
A practical session to help small business owners understand which marketing activity is actually driving results.
